Behaviour Support
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) ensures a person centred approach to supporting you with behaviour that may be negatively impacting on your quality of life. A PBS approach focusses on your skill development, and recognises the importance of engaging the systems and support networks surrounding you to create long term behaviour change.
Your strengths, needs, and wishes guide the support we provide to you. We also work with the people important to you to ensure you are supported in an environment that is consistently meeting your needs. We work with you, side by side, to reach your goals.
We are registered providers of PBS and Specialist Behaviour Support, and all of our PBS practitioners are certified and registered with the National Disability Insurance Scheme Quality and Safeguards Commission. We provide Behaviour Assessments, creation and implementation of Comprehensive PBS Plans (including restrictive practices), and training. We also recognise the value of taking a multidisciplinary approach and will work collaboratively with your other allied health supports.
