Behaviour Support Practitioner
Asalemo (Lemo) has extensive experience leading residential complex care teams across the community service sector, and leading customer service focused teams during a changing hospitality industry. As part of Trusted Clinical Services’ ACT team, Lemo brings over 10 years’ experience working in a behaviour support informed space. This has predominantly been with individuals with complex support needs and children in the child protection system, fuelling a strong passion in these areas. His roles over the past decade include team leadership, direct support work, key worker responsibilities and case management.
In 2023 Lemo was awarded the Trust Champion award, recognising his excellence as an employee at The Disability Trust. The award acknowledged the creative and person centred way with which Lemo approaches his work, and the strong relationships he forges with colleagues, senior leaders, and the people he supports.
Lemo is a highly skilled registered Behaviour Support Practitioner who is keen to learn, develop and share his skills with families and support teams, and who is committed to improving the wellbeing and overall quality of life for the people we support through achieving greater behaviour support outcomes.
