Jenny Slattery

As part of Trusted Clinical Services’ team working across both the ACT and Snowy Monaro, Jen Slattery has extensive experience working in a range of both leadership and direct support roles within the disability sector for over 15 years. With time spent in both school and early education settings, Jen is passionate about working with individuals and families to ensure they are able to access appropriate supports and achieve a sense of belonging and success within these systems.

Jen believes in celebrating people’s different strengths and abilities and acknowledging that each person is the expert on their own life story. Endeavouring to always hold an empathetic, non-judgemental space to encourage people to achieve their goals, Jen employs a person-centred approach to support, and values the process of collaborating with the families and systems around the individuals we work with.

A registered Behaviour Support Practitioner, Jen is always eager to embrace opportunities to increase her skill set and develop detailed knowledge and understanding of the different challenges and experiences of the people she supports, establishing strong reciprocal relationships and striving to improve not only behaviour support outcomes but overall wellbeing and quality of life.
