Nicole Franklin
Occupational Therapist
Nicole enjoys getting to know her clients and learning what is meaningful and important to them. Whilst working in a strength- based framework, Nicole collaborates as a team with her clients, their families & carers, clinicians and other stakeholders to promote participation in activities of daily living. Using a combination of assessment and intervention, Nicole enjoys being creative to develop or maintain independence across all aspects of one’s weekly routine.
Nicole graduated with a Masters of Occupational Therapy from Sydney University and is registered through AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency). Nicole was offered a position in her final university placement in an Occupational Rehabilitation setting where she had the opportunity to work with numerous; orthopaedic, soft tissue, and psychological injuries.
Nicole developed experience in equipment prescription, basic home modifications and completing; activities of Activities Daily Living, Functional, Workplace and Ergonomic Workstation assessments. Within this role, Nicole had the opportunity to commence NDIS services which ignited her passion for supporting people with disabilities. Since working with Trusted Clinical Services, Nicole has experienced the joy in seeing how meaningful engagement in occupation can make such a positive impact in people’s lives.
