Ruth Went

Ruth is a Disability Trained Registered Nurse and a qualified Trainer with a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.

With over 32 years in the sector, Ruth has extensive expertise in accommodation services and clinical teams. As the Convenor of the Restricted Practices Panel at The Disability Trust; Ruth monitors and approves the use of Restrictive Practices. Ruth provides a range of quality training packages for many organisations across the sector, on various topics related to complex health care needs for people living with disability.

Ruth has a passion for supporting people to reach their individual goals and fulfil their aspirations through her work in supporting complex health issues and behavioural needs. Ruth is a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with AHPRA- Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
