Duration: 1 hour per week, for all levels ranging from beginner to advanced learners

Location: embarc / Trusted Clinical Services Building, 1 Museum Place Batemans Bay NSW 2536.
Date: Next program commences August 2026. Bookings are required.
Cost: $78 per week. This can be used from the Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living, part of your NDIS plan, or privately.

Group Therapy Program
Build confidence, social skills, and meaningful connections in a supportive group environment – located in Batemans Bay.
The Social and Emotional Group Therapy Program is a fun, supportive, structured group program for adults with a disability who would like to develop skills in social interactions and relationships.
This program is designed to support participants to practise communication, build confidence, and engage with others. This program is facilitated by Eva Sutton, Registered Psychologist.
What Is the Social and Emotional Group Therapy Program?
The Social and Emotional Growth Group Therapy Program is an 8‑week psychology group therapy program designed to help participants develop skills related to:
- Develop understanding of emotions
- Learn strategies related to emotional regulation
- Explore social communication and relationships
- Build confidence in social situations
- Practise skills in a safe and supportive group environment
What you’ll learn:
- Identifying emotions
- Recognising Body Cues
- Emotional regulation
- Making friends
- Understanding perspectives
- Making and resolving mistakes
- Communicating wants and needs to others
Sessions encourage participation, learning, and shared experiences, while remaining grounded in psychological principles and evidence‑informed practice.
